Not medical advice. If there is pain, dizziness or a diagnosis, a doctor sees the plan first.
The point of these 15 minutes is to practise balance beside a support, not to test whether you can do without one. The support is a chair with its back to the wall, or a table edge that does not slide.
- Feet together. 3 holds of 20 seconds. The hand rests on the support. It does not clutch.
- One foot in front of the other. 2 holds of 15 seconds, each foot in front. If the step wobbles, go back to feet together.
- Weight on one leg. 2 holds of 10 seconds. The other toes touch the floor. Do not close the eyes.
- Sit and stand. 2×5, slowly, feet flat.
Dizziness, vision going dark, or pain: sit down and finish. Do not continue the plan that day.
